She was born in New York County, New York on December 8, 1961, to F.B.I. Agent John Vincent Coulter and his wife Nell Martin. They have two husbands Martin. She comes from Irish and German heritage. When she graduated from law school, she became an attorney for the United States Court of Appeals in Kansas. Then she quit the job after just a couple of years to pursue a profession as a lawyer New York City. In her new job she specialized in corporate law. She made an appearance in T.V. during 1998. It was known for her many performances on T.V. to talk about the impeachment and scandal of Bill Clinton. She published High Crimes & Misdemeanors : The Case against Bill Clinton in 1998, and was later dragged up with allegations of plagiarism. The books she wrote are over three million in total. She's never been married, and has had no children despite being engaged several times.
